I made this bowl from papier mache last Halloween,somehow it escaped being stored in the loft along with the cauldron ,cobwebs and creepy-crawlies.It spent the last few months gathering dust behind a pile of fabric in my work room, but now it has a new use,its a wonderful container for my lavender. The room smells lovely,and I can easily scoop out a handful to fill a lavender bag. I have been watching my lavender plants as the new shoots have been appearing and hope they produce as much lavender as they have the past few years. There is something comforting about making lavender bags, its so traditional and homely.
