LIZARD, CUSHION, MONSTER AND DISH

This is work in progress. I bought the table in a charity shop, and sanded it, or rather Colin did! I painted it pink to match my living room walls and am in the process of embellishing it with pond life.

I bought this lovely material at The fabric warehouse, but felt it needed something more interesting done to it. I machine quilted it to enhance the circles and make it more individual. I have made three, one for me.....and two to sell. All three are quilted in a different way to make them different but matching.....each a one-off.

Oh what a great monster. This is the first of many, made from bits of fleece left over from my winter hats.Unfortunately this one dissapered! I found hin in my son Charlies room, he had been having a wrestle with Charlies other monster ( Couture creature). Charlie was 10 last week, and lives for PS2 ,PC, PSP and WWE!

Needless to say I cant sell him now, but keep a look out for the others.

I think this wooden dish had some soapy pressy or something in it, anyway I found it under the stairs with a hoard of other objects saved because they have potential.

A quick coat of paint and a few stamps later and I have a groovy dish, or box if you prefere.

Mind you I have no idea what to use it for!

Sweet dreams....appliqued with hand printed fabric and hand embroidered.........lovely for a boy or girl. I made six, one never left home, two were given as gifts and I sold the last one at my wednesday market. I shall do some more, but I think I shall print the whole thing and give it a retro look.
